EHHOP Ophthalmology Clinic is an ancillary service of the East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership that provides eye care for patients referred from EHHOP’s Medical Clinic. The clinic provides vouchers to low-income individuals for free eyeglasses.
Purpose: Provide prescription glasses for near and distance vision, diabetic retinopathy screening, referrals for specialty eye treatment, and medical students opportunities to become familiar with eye history, slit lamp exam, and refraction
Eligibility: You must have had a recent eye exam, and have no other resources available to pay for glasses (from federal/state programs, or charitable organizations).
To Apply: You will work with a social/case worker at EHHOP to submit an application.
